I am a bit peed off at the moment. I have been told that i have to find a new job.
Oh well thats the life of a contractor. Doubly peed off because I have just brought a season ticket for the train.

6/5/08 - Greyhound, Beeston

Well another good night, as far as I am concerned. I think I played well, I think I sounded OK, vocally. Not sure what the audience thought.
It was a fast and slow song night. There was nothing new for me, but I dusted off some old songs I played, so here goes.
Substitute - the Who. Played slow using the 12 string setting on my Variax Acoustic. Sounded good. Speeded up for the last verse as i was getting bored playing slow.
Wonderful tonight - Eric Clapton. Played fast. This really worked and really rocked. Vocally I think I sounded good as well. People were singing along.
500 miles - The proclaimers. Played slow, with Bob on Harmonica. This also worked really well and at the end speeded it up. Poor Bob blew his heart out keeping up. he is one hell of a great harp player. Audiance sang along too. Good stuff.--------
Cannot remember what I played here
Whole Lotta Rosie - AC/DC. Played Slow with Bob on Harp
It was Bobs birthday the day before so there was food on offer. Happy birthday you old ....ker!
