18/12/10–Shopping, Tron, Beer, Shopping, Gig, Open Mic party

What a great Saturday
Started at noon, bus in to buy last three items, got two. Gloves are this years BIG seller. I wonder why?
Then I went to see the new Tron film at the Broadway cinema in Nottingham. This was in 3D and pretty effective it was too.

Then meet Kel and Jules for the NOT German market. Jules left and kel and I did some more shopping!

Put Kel on the bus and off to the Skin Gig with Toby Jepson & Matt Alfonzetti in support. Skin were good, classic rock anthems, Toby was excellent. Also rumour that Little Angels may reform, never say never!

Walked to the SMC post gig for Fiddler Steves birthday bash.

Got up and played about 2 AM on a Fender Squire Strat through a Marshall, clasic sound!
Played
Behind Blue Eyes – the Who
Pinball Wizard – the Who (Gary on Bass, Mary on Vocals)
Merry Christmas Every Body – Slade (Gary on Bass, Tim on Drums, Mary on Vocals)
Rocking in the free world – Neil Young (Tim on Drums, Steve on Acoustic)
Some pics when I get tem uploaded and sent to me.
Happy Christmas

16/12/10–The Oak, Warwick

It was a busy night

It started with a Christmas peeeeee up for the McKesson crowd, in a pub in Leamington for 7pm. Now we did not crawl far, but did drink a lot. It was a fun night met some old friends and made some new ones.

I left at 22:15 to catch a bus back to Warwick and the Oak’s Christmas Open Mic

Played on Ants Guitar which was I wore way too high for me, but never mind.

Bodged my way through

Please Read My Letter – Plant/Krause version
Pinball Wizard – the Who

Partway through one guy David, spotted it was me much to his shock.

It was an evening of shocks, one mate found a friend had been locked up for kiddie porn and was really shocked, you just don't know people you know sometimes.

Left pub at 12:30 having drunk too much!

Have a merry Christmas everyone

Variax Workbench

Well I am a happy bunny.

Since I updated to Windows 7 - 64 bit, I have not been able to tweek, either of my variax's.

I am happy to report that Line 6 have now native drivers for the Workbench. Now these were released back in November but I have only just got round to re-checking the site. This means that I can now customise the settings and remove the ones guitar types I no longer need and put in some song specific models.

It must be Christmas. lol!
