28/6/2012–The Cherry Tree, Kettering

Never been here before and is apparently the oldest pub in Kettering.

Everything started very late, not sure if its the football or what, but the music was great. Mainly band jam format.

Played with a Mandolin player called Adam who has only recently started to play it, anyhow it did sound ok.

Played

50 things to do before I die – Jon Chapman
Please Read My Letter – Plant/Krause version
Rocking in the free world – Neil Young

Now its been a funny day with my friends in Newcastle getting half drowned with some very dramatic pics and video, a massive rain storm at home and the Olympic flame going through Radcliffe-on-Trent on its way to Nottingham and seeing loads of friends enjoying the day. Seems a shame I missed it
