2/2/11 Slug & Lettuce, Milton Keynes

My mums birthday, Happy birthday mummy!

That done

Went to the Slug. This is only on once a month and I was new to MK and the Slug.

Played

Please Read my Letter – Plant/Krause (missed a few verses) So I titled this the Readers Digest version!
50 things to do before I die – Jon Chapman. For this I requested that the Box was opened! This was great. People bashing musical items all over the place. Magic.
Behind Blue Eyes – the Who

Thanks to the compare (Phil) for the loan of his Ovation otherwise I would not have been able to subject the residents of MK to my music!

A great venue and very good crowd. Cannot wait till next month.

Other acts were also great. Hope to get to know them over the following months.

Till next time Badger readers.

Sci Fi (Caprica / V)

Last night saw the end of a really good series, Caprica, that never quite lived up to expectations so was pulled early.

It also saw the restart of the re-making of V

A great set of TV planned!

New Year 2011

Had a quite new year in as both the kids flew the nest so we watched Jools Holland on TV and a right cracking time it was too.
On the first, when dark let off some sky lanterns, these were quite large and few well. Not sure where they landed but never mind.
