I have decided this is one of the best open mics around, trust me I have been to a few.
I was first up and played a few songs, my guitar gave up the ghost but borrowed on and it went well
Played
If I was a Carpenter – Tim Hardin
Please Read my Letter – Plant/Krause version
Pinball Wizard – the Who
50 things to do before I die – Jon Chapman
Keep On Rocking in the free world – Neil Young
Behind Blue Eyes/Won’t get fooled again – the Who
I hope to post some pics/video soon

My second time here, first as a player. It is a great evening a mix of Poetry and Music
I was up after the second “featured” artist and wacky poet! Catherine Brogan.
I really need to get access to the hidden poem!!!!!
I only got to do two so I did
Please read my letter – Plant/Krauss
Staffordshire Hill – Jon Chapman. Now I did this as a poem, it went really well. I have NEVER, NEVER read a poem live, and I was pleased by it.
Hoping that some pictures will follow.
I will return.
Till next time Badger Readers
Peace
Well a shock in the e-mails today a link to my first performance at the Slug & Lettuce Milton Keynes.
It was not too bad.
I wait this months file.
This is a very unique feature of this very good night!
Till next time

On the day I was officially a Numpty!!! See previous post, I played tonight at the monthly Slug open Mic.
The evening started well with a welcome handshake from the host, a great guy, who’s name I must get.
Then, I discovered that they record the night and the recordings are availiable for me to download.
Then, my work mates turned up and I got to play
Played
Please Read my Letter – Plant/Krauss version
50 things to do before I die – Jon Chapman (with The Box)
Gave two chords as a choice and they picked option 2
Pinball Wizard/I’m Free – The Who
Rocking in the free World – Neil Young
A great Night, will post the recordings when I get them!
I also tried the “take a picture & bluetooth me it” line. Some pics were taken and one arrived via e-mail. Many thanks Simon.
Me at the Slug & Lettuce, Milton Keynes!
Till next time Badger readers.
Peace!
Well that’s me.
As part of my job, I have to engage with a client for a first time as the start of the migration process.
Well, I engaged with the “WRONG” account!
In my defence, my boss was also confused but found it very amusing as did all my colleagues!
Life Goes on!
