13/12/2011–Marillion @ HMV Institute Birmingham

A great night and a great venue, however, I will not forgive them the cheek of charging £1 to print your own ticket. Oh Well winge over.

Before I got there went for a quick walk round Brum and enjoy the German Market.

I got there early so spent 30 minutes queuing outside in the frozen wind until they let us in and mad my way straight to the front. Yippie.

Tin Sprits

Tin Spirits were supporting and were excellent doing their own material and covers including Rush’s Tom Sawyer and XTC’s Senses working overtime.

Marillion

A great gig even if the gremlins were in the building, H, Steve & Pete all had technical problems at some point, H’s even caused a slight rejig of the set before his son fixed it!!!
