Its the first Friday of the month, also 100 years since the start of Somme and the tragic events that started there all those years ago.

Staffordshire Hill – Jon Chapman. Its is about the National Arboretum, but seemed fitting for the occasion

Following me was a most unique act

Japanese violin, African Harp and Tamla Drums, a wonderful sound they put together in their first performance

My host8ng duties, and I love it.

 

Up first as the host and during my spot, some muppets were charging around the field on a small monkey bike, they soon got chased off.

The second open mic in Bingham and I hope it was due to superstation that less players attended.

To those who did and those who did not, another great night was had.

Food was laid on  Pork cobs and chips, and there were crisps on the table too (bagged ready for eating not litter)
Beer at £2 and pint and Player Reward Tokens for a free drink, what an open mic it was!!!!
