Hair at Nicky Clark's for Kel and Jules.  Here I am sitting in splendid isolation. Ah the pleasure of working from home. Music on, Phone and e-mail. Near bliss. Thee only thing missing is the waitress service for tea.

Central Europe meeting, in Budapest. Check the GI installation is going ok, and things look basically on track. There a couple of minor irritations, they have not yet fully tested the software. I threaten to light the blue touch paper. I await results.  We schedule a meeting for next week with our supplier in Amsterdam.

Week 30 - Saturday 24/06/00& Sunday 25/06/00

Sunday Its a short week for me next week actually in Central Europe, so I travel early from Birmingham to Budapest so I can get some work done and speak with our supplier, who being Israel based, works on Sunday.  I at the end of the day do not get what I want to have done. Chill out in the sauna, then watch the football!

Week 30 - Thursday 22/06/00

The day of the great bang! Whilst sitting in a meeting discussing some technical and architectural issues, all of a sudden, a loud bang was heard. Our German translator was shocked as in the top pocket of his shirt, was his cigarettes, within the box was his lighter, a cheap disposable one, this had exploded.  This was the best case of tension diffusion I have ever experienced, normally someone tells a joke!
