Joined them on acoustic for the following songs.

Smoke on the water (me on vocals)

Later I did an unplugged session. In no particular order

Heroes
I'm not in love
Behind blue eyes
Pinball wizard
Please read my letter
If I was a carpenter
Band on the run
Ripples
Land of confusion

Give a little bit

23/7/12 - The Wayfarers Inn, Kettering

Never been here before and the third time it has been run. I am usually so knackered on a Monday I just want to sleep but I made the effort

Only one other player besides me and the host.

Played some standard stuff for me, I was going to play a couple of new(ish) ones, but got pulled to let the other guy have a go.

28/6/2012–The Cherry Tree, Kettering

Never been here before and is apparently the oldest pub in Kettering.

Everything started very late, not sure if its the football or what, but the music was great. Mainly band jam format.

Played with a Mandolin player called Adam who has only recently started to play it, anyhow it did sound ok.

Played

Now its been a funny day with my friends in Newcastle getting half drowned with some very dramatic pics and video, a massive rain storm at home and the Olympic flame going through Radcliffe-on-Trent on its way to Nottingham and seeing loads of friends enjoying the day. Seems a shame I missed it
