Back again and what another great night!
Went in with the plan of doing stuff I had not played in ages or very infrequently. Oh well the best laid plans.
Also, some of my song selection was in no way reflective of the events of the past 24 hours

Rocking in the free world – Neil Young with Martyn on Lead Guitar, Phil on Bass and Phil on drums (from the newly named Insomniac).
Genesis because we had just seen the excellent Mama at Leicester
Mr. Blue sky because it has been sunny although today it rained
Neither of the above two were in any way down to the election, honest. I am not that calculating!

May Trip

At the end of May we are embarking on a bit of a road trip.

The main stopping places are

Dinant, Cologne, Schwalmtal, Brussels, Bruges

2, 3, 4 May 2015–Weekend Jaunt-Pamper Day

Saturday

We started  with a visit to The Musician, in Leicester, for Mama. A genesis tribute band.

 

Solsbury Hill added to the list as well

Sunday

Then on to Sheffield, to deposit a red cross parcel to our impoverished student son, who is about to embark on his first year exams.

Then off to Marsden. We did not know about the Tour de Yorkshire event, thankfully they did not hold us up!

It had to be done

 

We went for a short stroll, not the walk I planned, as their were no busses on Sunday,but almost.

Then plenty of beer and a nice pasta tea!

Monday was Pamper day

We were given, very kindly by my cousin and his wife a Pamper day with a champagne lunch.

The place was lovely, nice pool, sauna, steam room, out side Jacuzzi which in the sun was wonderful.

I have heard there stuff on David Elliott's European Perspective internet radio show. Now a chance to see them in my home town. I am pleased I did.
